WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE?

One Year. A Different Pace of Reading.

Readers spend the year reading, revisiting, discussing, and reflecting on selected books. The goal is sustained engagement rather than quick consumption.

WHO IT IS FOR

Books That Reward Time and Attention.

The Challenge can be particularly relevant to books with strong themes and discussion potential. These examples are a guide, not a closed eligibility list.

THE READER EXPERIENCE

Discover. Read. Reflect. Discuss. Share.

The experience centers the reader: an encounter with the book, space to consider it, and opportunities to carry its ideas into genuine conversation.

THE AUTHOR EXPERIENCE

Enter a Reader-Focused Environment.

A participating book can become part of ongoing discussion and reflection. Recognition is based on meaningful engagement; reviews, sales, rankings, and algorithmic results are never guaranteed.

CHALLENGE PHILOSOPHY

We Believe Some Books Deserve Time.

Not every meaningful encounter happens quickly. The Challenge makes room for a book to be read slowly, revisited thoughtfully, and carried into conversation.
